Chris Craft

The Chris Craft above was a previous project. It now plies the waters around islands off shore at Fort Myers, Florida, and is new for sale by the Bay Scouts, for under $15,000 USD.

The Trimarran's finish (exterior) is glass-like, completed in the West System applications supplied by Gougeon Brothers of Bay City, Michigan

  • Shallow draft with 16 inch x 16 foot keel to improve tracking on long voyages.  Dagger boards were de-commisioned, but could be re-introduced for purist Horstman fans.


This beautiful Trimarran completed 5 years in the Caribbean...before being dry-docked at Sault Ste. Marie in the Great Lakes.


This graceful Tri, has been completely re-finished.  The 8 year project saw all exterior surfaces sanded to bare wood; then a thorough application of the "West System" applied...and a brilliant white gloss finish.

Lake Superior Sunrise will be sailed to Florida Sept 2005 to be sold.
